Garlic Rubbed Roasted Cabbage Steaks

Ingredients
  • 1head cabbage,approx 2 lbs
  • 1.5Tbl olive oil,extra virgin
  • 2-3clove garlic,minced
  • 1dash sea salt
  • 1dash pepper
  • 1spray olive oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 °.
  2. Spray a baking sheet with olive oil spray.
  3. Pull outer leaf off cabbage and cut the cabbage from top to bottom into 1″ thick slices.
  4. Rub both sides of cabbage with smashed garlic.
  5. Use a pastry brush to evenly spread the olive oil over both sides of the cabbage slices.
  6. Sprinkle each side with salt and pepper.
  7. Roast on the middle rack for 20 minutes on each side (total of 40 minutes) until edges are crispy and brown.
